剧情介绍：国际大都市北京，798工厂，一处五十年代外国人修建的厂房。工厂红火的时代过去了，厂房闲置，如何变废为宝、让厂房再次成为生金蛋的母鸡，管理者想出了绝妙的主意：和世界流行时尚接轨，把厂房变为前卫艺术家的居所，因为在这个年头里，最时髦的就是住在LOFT里。付房租的人很快就来了。不过事与愿违的是，租住者无论在艺术细胞还是在生活水平上，都离真正的艺术家还有距离，不短的距离。本剧中的五个主人公，就是同租一间仓库的五个住户，他们分别是欧洲留学归来的宠物店老板小资女人Miss康、随时准备为艺术献身的未成功画家米拉、一心想成为美女作家的可爱小女孩糖糖、有着经济头脑的文化掮客大侃和总以为自己是李白在世的豪放诗人恐龙。这五个人所做的都是主流艺术，但他们每个人都不属于成功人士，不入流。出于想要入流、进入上层文艺圈的美好愿望，五个人搬进了时尚前卫的仓库生活区。
